As we all settle into the winter season and have the holidays are upon us and before you know it, it will be time for softball season to begin.
So I did some digging and I can now give you an update on the 2013 Morabito tournament.
It looks like the tournament will be May 11th and 12 up at the Herkimer Complex.

The start times for the Saturday Games are as follows: 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM
The start times for the Sunday Games are as follows: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM

Good To See You Back Debbie !! (Happy Holidays to You). – RC Ketcham gets a tough match up right out of the block at the 2013 Morabito, having to play Brockport out of Section 5. The game will match up former All State Pitchers in RCK’s Casey Herzog up against Brockport’s Julia DiMartino, Carmel HS, who I think is playing in their 1st Morabito Tournament (I don’t ever remember them playing in it), have to face Cicero North Syracuse HS (Last year’s State Class AA Finalsit) who returns 1st Team All State Pitcher Sydney O’Hara, who it seems has been at CNS for years (I read that she is going to Syracuse University on a Full Softball Scholarship). Tournament experience should really help Carmel out this year
Also nice to see Suffern High School challenging themselves this year by playing in it. Coach Lloyd must have a strong returning team (Debbie – Can you update us all on what you know about Suffern ???). C-South is also returning, but I think they they got hit hard by graduation last year (Debbie, your thoughts on C-South as well?)
I first read where it appears as if RC Ketcham has a new varsity coach, then about 2 days later I read where Colonie HS out of Section 2 has replaced RC Ketcham in the Morabito. Does anyone know why RC Ketcham is not playing in it anymore?
