Pleasantville 4, Briarcliff 3: At Briarcliff, Caitlin Casey went 2 for 3 with two RBI for the Panthers. Teammate Chelsey Brooks also had two hits and an RBI. Victoria Trentini had two hits, a triple and an RBI.

John Jay 11, Nyack 10: At John Jay, Julie Klimberg went 4 for 4 with an RBI for John Jay. Teammate Chelsea Merritt went 2 for 3, including a triple, with two RBI. Kate Jones went 3 for 4, including a triple with two RBI for Nyack.

Tappan Zee 5, Yonkers 0: At Yonkers, Tayla Gardner pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts. Teammate Lisa Bates had a home run with two RBI. Tracey Williams had a hit for the Bulldogs.

Harrison 12, Somers 3: At Harrison, Sam Lagana went 2 for 3 and had two RBI for the Huskies. Teammate Jess Magnotia went 4 for 5.

Fox Lane 4, Horace Greeley 2: At Horace Greeley, Jessica Van Galen had two hits for a double and two RBI. Teammate Jenna D’Adamo went 2 for 3 with a double. Katye Gallardo and Sammi Leroy each had an RBI for the Quakers.

Eastchester 4, Our Lady of Victory 1: At Eastchester, Dara DiMarco had two hits and an RBI for the Eagles. Janine Lalli allowed one run on four hits with nine strikeouts. Stephanie Campana had a hit and a run scored for the Jaguars.

Cardinal Spellman 8, Good Counsel 7: At Good Counsel, Madison Lee had a home run, a triple and a base hit with five RBI for the Cougars. Teammate Kim Angiolillo had two triples and an RBI.

Westlake 14, Croton-Harmon 2: At Westlake, Sabrina Snyder went 3 for 5 with a double, a home run and had six RBI for the Wildcats. Annie Pichiarallo pitched a four hitter allowing a walk and struck out seven. Stephanie Zimei had two hits for the Tigers.

Panas 16, Peekskill 1, 5: At Panas, Caitlin McHenry had a double, a home run, and four RBI. Elizabeth Parish had three RBI. Sheridan Taylor scored.

Albertus Magnus 4, Preston 0: At Albertus Magnus, Maura Power pitched a two hitter, allowing two walks and struck out 12 for the Falcons. Erin Hardin went 2 for 3 with a double and had two RBI. Molly Meehan went 2 for 3 including a solo home run.

Clarkstown South 14, Gorton 1, 6: At Gorton, Dana Kurtti went 3 for 5 and had three RBI. Tracy Klein had a two-run home run.

Lakeland 2, Hen Hud 0: At Lakeland, Alex Oakes pitched a three-hitter allowing two walks and struck out 10 for the Hornets. Taylor Bell went 2 for 3 and had an RBI. Rachel Buckner had a lead off double in the top of the fifth inning to break up the no-hitter for the Sailors.

Ardsley 8, Edgemont 3: At Ardsley, Kathryn Fishman scored three runs and stole four bases to lead Ardsley. Winning pitcher Madison Dinaso hurled a five-hitter with seven strikeouts. Christina Herrero had two hits and an RBI for Edgemont.

Hackley 22, Riverdale 12: At Riverdale, Samantha Erosa went 6 for 6 with three home runs, a triple and seven RBI for the Hornets. Teammate Caroline Ellis went 3 for 4 with two triples and two RBI.

Scarsdale 2, North Rockland 0: At Scarsdale, Nicole Lee had 10 strikeouts in a three-hitter complete game. Rosaria Callara had the lone RBI and Chelsea LoBue went 2 for 3 with a double.

Mahopac 19, Mount Vernon 0: At Mount Vernon, Kaileen Creamer went 3 for 3 with a double, a triple and three RBI. Creamer also threw seven strikeouts and gave up three hits in the shutout. Bari Chavez went 4 for 5 and had an RBI.

Ketcham 1, Ursuline 0: At Ketcham, Taylor Pirone and Kristie Vitulli each had two hits for the Koalas. Pirone pitched a two-hitter in six innings allowing a walk and struck out seven.

Rye Country Day 9, Fieldston 2: At Rye Country Day, Alex Sabatini went 2 for 3 with a double and had three RBI for the Wildcats. Kim McKoy had a double, a home run and two RBI.

Irvington 3, Hastings 1: At Irvington, Hannah Bernard had a single up the middle in the fifth inning to tie the game at one for the Bulldogs. Gillian Morley pitched a one hitter allowing two walks and struck out five. Lena Trager scored the run for the Yellow Jackets.

Brewster 4, Yorktown 3: At Yorktown, Christina Graff had two doubles and two RBI for the Bears. Nicole Pironi went 2 for 4 and had an RBI for the ‘Huskers.

Harrison 1, Clarkstown North 0: At Harrison, Ashley Marino batted in Jessica Trolio in the fifth for the win. Marino also pitched the shutout allowing four hits with 10 strikeouts and only two walks. Vicky Atzl had two hits for the Rams.

Ardsley 7, Edgemont 1: At Edgemont, Kathryn Fishman went 2 for 3 including a triple with three runs scored. Christine Salmon went 2 for 3 for the Panthers.

Ursuline 3, Suffern 0: At Suffern, Taylor Pirone had a two run home run and pitched a shutout with six strikeouts. Emily Dickenson had one RBI. Jess Crowley went 2 for 3 for the Mounties.

Sleepy Hollow 11, Irvington 0: At Irvington, Deanne Lindsay pitched the shutout allowing two hits with 12 strikeouts. Teammate Jaime Bucci had an RBI. Brittany Myers had a double for the Bulldogs.

Maria Regina 7, Good Counsel 5: At Good Counsel, Maria Pellino and Francesca Rush had two RBI each for the Tigers. Taylor Deleo had a solo home run for the Cougars.

Rye Neck 15, Westlake 0, 5: At Rye Neck, Amy Carelli went 3 for 3 with two doubles and four RBI. Teammate Jessica Calvini allowed two hits with three strikeouts. Alyssa Brophy and Amanda Pichiarallo each had a hit for the Wildcats.

Beacon 2, Hen Hud 0: At Beacon, Fran Kiernan went 2 for 3, gave up no earned runs and recorded five strikeouts.

Mount Vernon 20, Roosevelt 1, 5: At Mount Vernon, sophomore Neil Danielle recorded her first varsity no-hitter. Jervette Baldwin and Amber Draper each hit a homerun. Hivelize Escobar scored for the Indians.

Hastings 5, Nanuet 3: At Hastings, Julia Salinaro had a triple and a base hit with an RBI for the Yellow Jackets. Teammate Lauren Harris had a double and a base hit with an RBI. Noelle Lopopolo went 3 for 3 with a double for the Golden Knights.

Pearl River 4, Albertus Magnus 1: At Albertus Magnus, Krystina Poloni went 2 for 3 and homered for the Pirates. Katie O’Flynn struckout 11 in six innings. Erin Harding went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Falcons.

New Rochelle 5, Carmel 0: At Carmel, Arianna Martignetti hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to give the Hugeunots a 3-0 lead. Rebecca Roell had the Rams’ only hit.

Blind Brook 7, Tuckahoe 4: At Blind Brook, Nicole Accurso was 4 for 4 with four RBI as the Trojans posted their first win of the season. Nicole Crimmins had two hits for Tuckahoe.

Putnam Valley 17, Croton-Harmon 0: At Putnam Valley, Jackie Gallagher had two of Putnam Valley’s 17 hits and drove in two runs. Winning pitcher Cassie Girvalo had three hits, including a double.

Mahopac 5, East Ramapo 1: At Mahopac, Jackie Sanita doubled and drove in two runs. Khayla Rodriguez doubled for East Ramapo.

Haldane 6, Bronxville 0: At Bronxville, Laura Campbell had a home run. Teammate Kaitlyn Mastrantone had two hits and an RBI. Brie Ewoldt had a double for the Broncos.

Horace Greeley 10, Somers 5: At Horace Greeley, Ariel Rosen had 3 for 3 with two runs scored for the Quakers. Tammy Wray went 3 for 3 with two solo home runs for the Tuskers.

White Plains 2, John Jay-East Fishkill 1, 8: At John Jay-East Fishkill, Lauren Sputo had a double and an RBI for the Tigers. Teammate Emily Frawleyhad a base hit and a triple.

Our Lady of Victory 9, Cardinal Spellman 2: At Our Lady of Victory, Laura Jean Brezvosky had two doubles and a single with two RBI for the Jaguars. Teammate Kelly Konkus had a single and a double.

Lakeland 3, Brewster 2: At Lakeland, Cassie Kardias scored the game-winning run off a single from Alex Oakes. Alex O’Malley tied the game for Lakeland with a solo home run in the seventh. Jessica Greisinger went 2 for 4 with one RBI for the Bears.

Pleasantville 10, Briarcliff 4: At Pleasantville, Ashley Rhoden pitched six innings of scoreless relief, striking out four and walking two, to lead Pleasantville (2-0). Abigail Collin and Lowell George each went 2-for-3 for the 0-2 losers.

Scarsdale 2, Ketcham 1: At Ketcham, Chelsea LoBue scored the eventual winning run in the fourth inning on a ground out by Rebecca Prager. Nicole Lee recorded four strikeouts and allowed no earned runs for the Raiders.

Holy Child 10, Brearley 0, 6: At Holy Child, Chloe Giordano had two hits including a homerun and two RBI for the Gryphons. Kathleen Samuelson had nine strikeouts in the shutout.

stat and standings pages

UPDATE – If you go to our home page, and click on stat leaders for softball; if you scroll all the way down to the end of the page you’ll see batting link and pitching link. Click on the pitching link and you’ll see the stats for the pitchers.

UPDATE – I know the pages have been going in an out like the cable can, but once the standings page comes back in I can tell you for a fact that the leagues have been updated.

The standings pages is up and running as well as the leaderboard.

The pitching half of the leaderboard is being worked on. Please be patient and understand that this isn’t Max Preps. All the kinks are getting worked on.

Pearl River tournament

The Pearl River tournament takes place on Saturday April 25 at Veteran’s Park in Orangeburg. The facility is really nice if you’ve never been there.

Anyway, here are the match ups for the all day tournament:

Opening round
Pearl River vs. Clarsktown South, 11 a.m.
Tappan Zee vs. North Rockland, 11 a.m.

The championship and consolation games will take place at 1:30 p.m.

Arlington and Clarkstown North split the double header. Arlington won game one 2-0 and Clarkstown North won game 2 8-6

Rye Neck 17, Good Counsel 0, 5: In the championship game of the Mamaroneck tournament, tournament MVP Jessica Calvini allowed one hit and struck out 10 in five innings. Calvini went 3 for 4 with a double and had three RBI. Kerry Ryan had the only hit for Good Counsel.

Ursuline 7, New Rochelle 1: At New Rochelle, Cristina Freeman homored and Taylor Pirone gave up four hits and one run in seven innings. Kehli Washington went 2 for 3 for New Rochelle.

Eastchester 9, Maria Regina 1: In the opening round game of the Eastchester tournament, Noelle McDonough went 3 for 4 and had three RBI for the Eagles. Janine Lalli pitched a four hitter allowing a run and struck out 13.

Mamaroneck 12, Port Chester 3: In the consolation game of the Mamaroneck tournament, Danielle Deandrea went 3 for 4 with two triples, a double and four RBI. Emily Silver went 2 for 3 with three RBI and four runs scored. Alyson Lores went 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI for Port Chester.

North Rockland 6, Valhalla 1: At North Rockland, Samantha Welsh threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 for the Red Raiders. Teammate Amanda Babcock went 2 for 4 with two runs scored.

Hen Hud 3, Scarsdale 1: In the opening round of the Eastchester tournament, Shanna Brown hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the third. Francis Kiernan scattered six hits and earned the win. Nicole Lee allowed four hits and struck out eight for Scarsdale.

Rye Country Day 4, Millbrook 3: At Rye Country Day, Jolie Burke threw a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and only allowed one earned run. Alex Sabatini had one RBI and two hits.

White Plains 2, New Hartford 0: In the championship game of the Mudville tournament, tournament MVP Lauren Sputo allowed two hits, two walks and struck out 15 for the Tigers. Sarah Lorden had two doubles.

White Plains 3, Binghamton Seton Catholic 1: In the opening round of the Mudville tournament in Utica, Lauren Sputo allowed a run, three hits, five walks and struck out 12 for the Tigers. Emily Frawley went 1 for 4 and had a triple.

Holy Child 10, Hackley 8: At Hackley, Molly Schauber and Kathleen Samuelson each drove in a run in the top of the eighth. Chloe Giordano scored the tying run on an errant throw after she stole third in the seventh. Krista Oancione had two hits and two RBI for Hackley.
