New realignment proposition

Hey everyone and Happy Holidays to you all.
It looks like that Section 1 athletics will be going under some major changes for next year thanks impart due to what’s going with the economy. Unofficially, that change will come in the form of new league alignments.
Geography is the biggest factor in the decision. But, when it comes to the playoffs, all the schools will divide out into their respective classes. So, in essence, during the regular season, Rockland will see Rockland teams and in Westchester; White Plains and Harrison will see a lot of each other during the regular season. In sports like hockey and lacrosse, get ready for more one-sided games because gone will be the power leagues that would help to keep the games a lot more competitive.
It’s a crappy way for things to go but unfortunately the national problems in the economy can’t be overlooked. Budgets will need to be cut and the sports will be looked at. The new alignments will cut travel time greatly.
