High school softball in the Lower Hudson Valley

Pearl River’s future varsity players

August
5

Pearl River varsity softball coach Mike Carlacci is one very lucky man, knowing that many of the Pearl River District 18 all-star team will be playing for him in the future.

Pearl River won the District 18 and Section 3 championships and played in the state final, where it lost to North Shore (LI) Tuesday. Despite the loss, Pearl River went 9-2 during its run, losing both times to North Shore.

Congratulations to the following team members: Julianna Madigan, Emily Figueroa, Erica Collura, Katherine Gilbride, Alexa Candelario, Katie Vinci, Lindsey Stephen, Sarah Henry, Courtney Ocasal, Madison Gerace and Ali Sheehan.
