High school softball in the Lower Hudson Valley

Future Section 1 players part II

To piggyback off of Tony…

I just saw Nanuet play in the Tournament of Champions and I agree about Janine Mackey. She’s going to be a good windmiller in the future. I also think that Theresa Blumenfeld will be a good shortstop. She’s got good range at the position and a pretty good bat too. The Nanuet team will face New City for the first ever Tournament of Champions title in softball.

I can’t wait to see what this championship game will be like

  1. ROCKLAND SOFTBALL

I don’t mean to be picky but there has been a girls softball T of C before with a championship. My daughter actually played in it when she was 10 yrs old.

    Rockland Softball

It was a different tournament hosted by Stony Point. The Journal News Tournament of Champions have never had softball in it.

  3. HS Softball Fan

It was in Stony Point at two different times, and once in Pearl River, but they were never sponsored by the Journal News.
