At Clarkstown North, Kristin Martini threw a five-hitter and struck out 14 for Clarkstown North in a 4-1 win over Yonkers.
Tiffany Alliano and Felica Badillo each had four RBI in the North Rockland win over East Ramapo. Heather Hansen had four hits and scored five runs.
At Nyack, Amanda Karam went 2 for 3 with a double and had four RBI for the Indians in their 16-11 win over Fox Lane.
Catrina Delgais had another day at the office pitching a no-hitter and struck out 11 in the 5-0 win for Suffern over Clarkstown South.

For Clarkstown South, Katie Morelli left after pitching an inning after she took a shot to her shin.

Tony Pinciaro, who grew up in Silver Lake and is a 1981 Harrison High School graduate, covered the Westchester/Putnam softball beat for six years for The Journal News. This season, he will switch over and handle the Rockland beat. Tony is married with two children, Elena, 9, and Vincent, 6. When he is not covering softball this season, Tony will be cheering for Elena, who will be playing for the Storm in the Nanuet Little League Triple A softball division.
