North Rockland wins 5-1 over R.C. Ketcham

The Red Raiders got a good win over R.C. Ketcham behind Samantha Welsh’s two-hitter allowing a run, two walks, and struck out eight. She also got two hits in the game. Caitlyn Riley had two RBI. Tiffany Alliano had the big day offensively going 2 for 3 with a run scored, a walk and had an RBI.

In other Rockland news, Katie Morelli pitched a shutout and struck out eight in the Clarkstown South win over East Ramapo. Her teammates Gina Carlone and Julianne Skrapits had a home run each. Kirstin Mayz went 2 for 4 for East Ramapo.

Does anyone know if North Rockland called up JV players for offense, or if they had injuries???

They were called up due to 2 injuries.
