    Tony…Another big game Thursday saw RCK downing Yorktown 5-2. Handing them thier first loss of the season. Yorktowns dynamic duo went 2 for 8 with 1 run & 1 RBI. Ketchum seems to be playing secret ball not revealing any statistics after thier games. It looks like the Putnam County teams are very stong this year. RCK also handed Gaby Torzilli her first loss of the season 3-0.

Tony Pinciaro, who grew up in Silver Lake and is a 1981 Harrison High School graduate, covered the Westchester/Putnam softball beat for six years for The Journal News. This season, he will switch over and handle the Rockland beat. Tony is married with two children, Elena, 9, and Vincent, 6. When he is not covering softball this season, Tony will be cheering for Elena, who will be playing for the Storm in the Nanuet Little League Triple A softball division.
