Chelsea Alburger went 2 for 2 with two RBI and a run scored for Nanuet in their 8-5 win over Edgemont.
Then at Nyack, Melissa Bacalan had two hits an RBI for the Indians in their loss to Sleepy Hollow. Jessica Bucci went 3 for 3 with three RBI and winning pitcher Deanne Lindsay also went 3 for 3.
What a day for North Rockland today What else can I say; Tony said it all very eloquently.

again its rockland getting the lines. Nyack lost to Sleepy, but you write up Nyack’s player, when two of sleepy’s players went 3 for 3. Just no justice!!!!
I am sensing much anger from mybeamer.
You should change your posting name to Number 1 Sleepy Fan.
Debbie covers the Rockland games not Westchester.
In all of your posts, you have tried to masquerade the fact that you are a Sleepy fan by listing other teams first and throwing Sleepy in last.
Your agenda is clear, and that is fine, I’m sure they will cover a Sleepy game soon.
Patience Sleepy, I mean mybeamer.
I don’t understand…its a Westchester/Rockland Newspaper. If a Rockland team is playing a Westchester team without regard to what location the game is played at, both teams should be noted.

Whether you are complimenting a player or team or offering a critique to Debbie or myself, I appreciate the fact that you post under your real name.
I was just busting horns in the office. There are a few people here that make comments on this site.
Around the Bases..High school softball in the Lower Hudson Valley. This is the name of the BLOG. Debbie reports on Rockland county and Tony reports on Westchester. Rockland & Westchester are in the Lower Hudson Valley. HS Softball 101
sorry Peter Z. not a fan of any one team, just a fan of all. Like to see all the good players be recognized once in a while.
